To understand Triads is to understand the Guitar. Triads have the potential to open up a whole new world of polyphonic understanding for the developing Guitarist at every level. This course provides a practical, functional and conceptual understanding of how chords are constructed thereby building a strong foundation for hearing, creating and performing in every style.

Remember that chords are derived from scales so this course of study is an excellent one to begin putting together triads with their related scales. It is also excellent for beginning to break down large chord forms into smaller abbreviations allowing for greater ease in comping.
